BankMonitor

BankMonitor
www.bank-monitor.org
From 2001-2009, we published BankMonitor every two weeks, providing up-to-date information in Russian on the activities of international financial institutions involved in natural resource extraction in the former Soviet Union.  As oil and gas extraction in the region intensified, along with mining and other natural resource exploitation, BankMonitor tracked the involvement of international financial institutions in projects with potential negative environmental impacts in the region.

We hope that you have benefited from the information shared via BankMonitor over the years and encourage you to stay in touch with Crude Accountability.  The back issues of BankMonitor will continue to be archived here.

For those who are interested in monitoring the development and financing of the Nabucco Gas Pipeline, we encourage you to subscribe to the Nabucco Watch list, which provides regular updates in both Russian and English.  To subscribe, please write to michelle@crudeaccountability.org with your name, affiliation, email address, and whether you would like to be subscribed to the Russian or English list, or both.

Thank you!
