Revenue Transparency Legislation in the US Congress
As a member of the Publish What You Pay US Coalition, Crude Accountability supports the recent initiatives to pass the Extractive Industries Transparency Disclosure Act (EITDA) in the US House of Representatives and the Energy Security Through Transparency Act (ESTT) in the Senate.
On April 12, 2010, Crude Accountability wrote to Congressman Barney Frank, thanking him for his sponsorship of EITDA and urging that he reintroduce the measure in the 111th Congress.
To read more about these measures and to learn how you can write to your member of Congress asking them to support the fight against corruption, please go to the Publish What You Pay-US Coalition website.
